In December, we proudly hosted a press conference in Stockholm to introduce Lucky Sport Cycling Team to the world. The event marked the beginning of an exciting chapter for Swedish road cycling as we unveiled our vision, riders, and ambitious plans for the future.

A Diverse team with High Ambitions

We’ve brought together a group of talented riders with valuable international experience, each sharing a passion and drive to make their mark. Amir Ansari, Edvin Lovidius, and Axel Källberg are among the riders, and they each bring a unique perspective to the team.

For Edvin, the decision to join felt like a natural fit, as he values the opportunity to combine international racing with being closer to home.

“It’s a professional project that everyone is passionate about, and it feels great to be part of something that aligns with both my career and lifestyle,” he says.

Axel Källberg, who comes from the DSM organization in the Netherlands, shares a similar sense of purpose.

“We’re building something strong here, the energy and ambition within the team are palpable, and I’m ready to push myself to the World Tour level with this group”

Pushing Swedish Cycling to New Heights

Behind the project is Oskar Ekman, whose passion for the sport is matched by his dedication to its growth in Sweden. With a track record that includes founding the Svealand Cycling Team and serving as chairman of Stockholm’s cycling federation, Oskar brings experience, leadership, and an unwavering vision to Lucky Sport Cycling Team.

“This is what I dream of doing, I have the energy and drive to commit to this for the next ten years, and I truly believe we can build something remarkable for Swedish cycling.”

A New Era for the Sport of Swedish Cycling

With a strong foundation of passion and determination, we’re committed to competing at the highest level and putting Swedish cycling on the global map. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to have you with us on this journey.
