A New Chapter for Swedish Road Cycling

A new era of ambition and determination is unfolding in Swedish road cycling. With the formation of Lucky Sport Cycling Team, a group of talented riders and visionaries have come together to create something extraordinary. Backed by passion and a clear long-term strategy, the team is setting its sights high—aiming not just to compete but to make a lasting mark on the international cycling scene.

History of Swedish Cycling

Swedish cycling has a rich tradition but limited success on the global stage compared to other European nations. While the country has produced talented riders over the years, the achievements of Swedish pro teams have been more modest.

We’ve seen sporadic efforts to establish professional cycling teams, but few have maintained a lasting presence or achieved significant success internationally. Despite this, there’s always been a strong grassroots passion for the sport, with a dedicated cycling community keeping the dream alive. Now, with the launch of Lucky Sport Cycling Team, there’s renewed hope for Sweden to make a bigger impact on the professional cycling world.

Our Journey

Our story began with a shared love for cycling and a determination to spark change in the Swedish cycling landscape. Starting with building Sveland Cycling Team in 2019 we have established a stable platform, laying the foundation for our growth and development in Swedish cycling. Along the way, we’ve assembled a group of exceptional riders, visionary leaders, and passionate partners, all united by a common goal, to push boundaries and achieve new heights in the sport.

A New Vision Backed by Passion

The initiative is driven by a shared passion for advancing Swedish road cycling. With a clear long-term strategy, the team aims to create a platform where talent and ambition can thrive. The focus is on building a competitive presence internationally while elevating the sport domestically.

Our team will begin its journey on the European Tour, but the goals don’t stop there. Within five years, we aim to establish ourselves as a competitive force on the international stage, secure Swedish Championship titles in both road and time trial events, and ultimately, earn a coveted spot at the Tour de France.
